NASAP’s Online Newsletter

July 2022 Issue

Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,

Happy July!

I hope everyone is having a restful, and fun summer. I am looking forward to hearing how those who attended enjoyed ICASSI! We have a lighter newsletter this month as I am sure many of you are traveling, or just enjoying some time off academics, studying, and a hopefully lighter workload. As always, the newsletter is a place for all voices to be heard, and I encourage you to reach out to the newsletter team! Most importantly, stay safe and enjoy these precious days.

From the NASAP Office

Are you a NASAP member? We need your help!

One of the things non-members (and members alike) ask of NASAP is a working member directory.

This is going to take some social interest: we need your help.

The office staff has been working to get the search capability for the Member Directory up and running. Out of the 750+ members, only a handful have indicated YES or NO to being included in the searchable directory. The majority of members defaulted to NO, which makes the directory unusable!

We need every single member to log in to their profiles and update the very last question:

"Would you like to have your information included in a directory search?"

Here are the instructions for completing this task:

1. Log in to the member landing page:

2. Once you are logged in, scroll down until you see "Update your profile at MY PROFILE -" Then click on  MY PROFILE

3. When your profile page appears, scroll down until you can see the box that has Username at the top and "Edit" in a box to the right.

4. Click Edit (it will appear green when you hover your mouse over it).

5. Review the information and make any changes you may want to or need to. If you moved recently or changed your email or phone number, please update that information also.

6. At the very bottom of this box is the question "Would you like to have your information included in a directory search?"

Choose the option that works for you (YES or NO).

  • YES means people will be able to see your primary address, country, email, phone #, if you are accepting referrals, and affiliates you belong to.

  • NO means no one will be able to find your contact information.

7. Then click SAVE to save any changes you made to your profile information.

If you have any questions, please contact the office so we can help you with this. It is a great member benefit to have a searchable directory and we are excited to get it back up and running with your help.

Thank you!
